Electrician: Air Conditioning Technician (Buses) Full Time Contract by Employer Only residing in Malta

We are looking for a skilled and reliable AC Technician to join our fleet maintenance team, specializing in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning systems in buses. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with HVAC systems in heavy vehicles, with a strong focus on diagnostics, performance testing, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair air conditioning systems in buses
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Recharge AC systems with refrigerants and ensure proper pressure levels
• Conducting general maintenance, service, and repair duties on electrics efficiently.
• Ensuring that bus diagnostics and repairs meet safety and reliability standards and comply with government regulations.
• Training and assisting Semi-Skilled workers as required.
• Collaborating closely with other Mechanics, Panel Beaters, and workshop staff members.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace and ensuring proper management of hazardous waste.
• Adhering to established policies and procedures, including those related to security, health and safety, data protection, eco-friendly practices, and quality assurance.
• Completing job cards, work orders, or any other job-related documentation to ensure thorough traceability.
• Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time

Requirements:

• Three (3) years working experience in Air conditional maintenance and repair of both buses or trucks
• Proficiency experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical tasks.
